Terms of use
Using the website, sharing material and listing your business in the directory.
Effective 16 October 2026
Using Chatswood Edit
Chatswood Edit publishes local reporting, guides and an edited directory. You may read the website and share links to its pages. Please use it lawfully, without interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorised access, impersonating someone else or sending spam.
Content reflects the information available when it was prepared or updated. Check current prices, opening hours and availability with the business concerned. For planning decisions, consult the linked official records; our reporting is general information rather than advice for a particular property, legal or financial decision.
Our content & reuse
Articles, photographs, illustrations and other original material belong to Chatswood Edit or their respective rights holders. Crediting a source does not by itself give permission to reproduce its work.
You can share a page link. For republication or other reuse beyond a permission stated on the material or a use allowed by law, contact us first. Third-party images, logos and extracts may require permission from their owners.
Material you submit
Only send text, images or other material that you own or have permission to share for the intended use. Tell us about relevant credits, restrictions and any information that is confidential. If you represent a business, make sure you are authorised to provide its information.
You keep ownership of your material. For material you specifically supply for publication, the permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free: Chatswood Edit may store, reproduce, format, edit and publish it for the listing or editorial contribution it was supplied for. Technical providers may process it to support that use. This does not authorise unrelated advertising or the sale of your material.
A private enquiry or correction request does not automatically give permission to publish your contact details or correspondence. We may check facts you provide and use verified information in our reporting.
To withdraw permission for future use, contact us with the material and page link. We will review the request, explain any applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations, and agree how existing publication should be handled. A request does not undo use already authorised or remove copies held independently by others.
Listings, editing & removal
A listing submission is reviewed before publication and does not guarantee a listing, coverage, a particular position or ongoing inclusion. Please provide accurate information and let us know when important details change.
We may edit, decline or remove material that is inaccurate, outdated, duplicated, outside our editorial scope, unlawful, misleading, or infringes another person’s rights or privacy. Where practical, we will explain a disputed decision and consider supporting information you provide. Paid placements are also subject to their agreed booking terms.
Businesses can request factual corrections without purchasing advertising or another service. Editorial decisions remain independent of commercial arrangements.
Advertising & services
A general enquiry does not create a booking or a payment obligation. Advertising and digital-service work require a separate agreement setting out the scope, price, timing, approvals, cancellation and any applicable refund arrangements before the work is booked.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
Discuss advertising or digital services →External websites
Links to businesses, documents and other websites help readers check information or find a service. Those websites have their own terms and privacy practices. A directory entry or link is not a guarantee of the third party’s products or services.
Questions & related policies
For a rights concern, disputed listing or question about these terms, email chatswoodedit@gmail.com. Include the relevant page link, what you believe is wrong and the outcome you are seeking. There is no charge to raise a concern.
Our complaint-handling target is acknowledgement within two business days and a substantive written response within 30 calendar days. If a review needs longer, we will explain why, give a revised date and keep you updated. A response should explain the decision and any action taken. This process does not limit any right to seek an external remedy.
Read our Editorial policy for verification and corrections, and our Privacy policy for personal information handling and privacy complaint options.
Later changes to these terms will be dated and will not retrospectively expand permissions for material already submitted.
